It happened at about 1:00 p.m. on Highway 95.
According to Idaho State Police, Boise resident Danielle Rood was driving a 2006 Mazda, coming out of Nez Perce Road about to make a left turn onto southbound 95.
ISP said Lewiston resident David Arthur was northbound in a 1989 Camry, when police said he saw Rood pulling out. Arthur tried to avoid the collision but could not.
A passenger in the Mazda was not injured, but both Rood and Arthur were taken to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.
Arthur was treated and released. Rood was listed in fair condition Monday.
