LEWISTON - An unidentified man was injured in a Monday afternoon crash in Lewiston.
It happened on 17th Street at 11th Avenue. Lewiston Police and Fire responded to the scene. The crash involved a 2002 Envoy and a 2002 Echo. Officers said the collision was the result of one of the drivers failing to yield to a red light, but police had not determined who was as of late Monday afternoon. "One of the vehicles did not yield to the red light," said Lewiston Police Department Officer Jason Leavitt. "We're not sure what vehicle that was at this time. They collided in the middle of the intersection." Police said the driver of the Echo was checked out by medics at the scene of the crash.
