ASOTIN - The verdict was reached Tuesday in the Darrell R Pallaske trial.

Pallaske, 37, of Clarkston was found guilty Tuesday afternoon in Asotin County Superior Court of first degree child molestation, second degree incest and tampering with a witness.

On Tuesday expert testimony was heard about the level of alcohol it takes to impair judgment, since, according to the prosecution, Pallaske claimed he was intoxicated when the crime was committed.

The two day bench trial was heard by Judge William Acey. Tom Ledgerwood defended Pallaske in the case that involved a nine-year-old child.

A sentencing date was not set.
