This two-car crash on Thain slowed traffic Thursday afternoon. By Hayley Guenthner
LEWISTON - A motorist told police a traffic light changed too quickly, leading to a crash on Thain Thursday afternoon.
Lewiston Police Officer Doc White said fire personnel responded to the two-vehicle crash around 12:45 p.m. He said 72-year-old Lewiston resident, William T. Shearer was northbound in a Buick when he struck a Ford Windstar driven by Marcella Bledsoe, also of Lewiston, in the middle of the intersection. White said Shearer told police the light changed too fast for him to react. He said Bledsoe was complaining of arm injuries. Medics treated her at the scene. White said Shearer received a citation for failure to obey a traffic signal. |
