CLARKSTON – The body of a 45-year-old man was found Wednesday morning at Oakwood Manor, a housing complex owned by the Asotin County Housing Authority.
Clarkston Police Chief Joel Hastings said officers were called to the apartments off of Billups Street after a neighbor contacted them. The man has been identified as 45-year-old Michael S Stubblefield. Stubblefield apparently fell three stories off a balcony, which is believed to be the cause of death. Police do not believe it was a homicide. Security video inside the complex does not show anyone exiting or entering Stubblefield's apartment Tuesday night. County Coroner Ben Nichols has ordered an autopsy and blood screening. The investigation is continuing. |
