By Matt Loveless
OROFINO - A former Orofino police officer will answer to an Aggravated Battery charge in Clearwater County District Court.
28-year-old Jereme Daw was terminated from the department on December 17, 2007, as the result of allegations that he had engaged in a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old girl. According to reports in court documents, Daw and the girl allegedly had the relationship from October to December of 2007. Daw waived his preliminary hearing in magistrate court Monday. He is scheduled for an arraignment in front of 2nd District Judge John Bradbury on June 23. |
