HIGHWAY 13 - A Kamiah man is killed when his truck tumbles into the river.

56-year-old Jesse Akin was driving a 1998 Peterbilt tractor and log trailer northbound on Highway 13 between Grangeville and Harpster at about 11:00 p.m. Thursday. That's when Idaho State Police said his tractor drifted across the center line, went off the left shoulder, down the embankment and into the river. ISP is continuing their investigation into the fatal accident.
