Two WSU students arrested in Pullman on marijuana charges

PULLMAN - The Quad Cities Drug Task Force has arrested two WSU students on marijuana charges.

Task Force officers served a search warrant Tuesday night around 8 at Chinook Village, Apartment 112X on the WSU campus.

There they arrested 19-year-old Joshua A. Dibble. Police say Dibble, along with 22-year-old Robert Elcome, had been the focus of a lengthy investigation. Elcome was not at the apartment at the time of the arrest but was arrested Wednesday morning after turning himself in to police, according to the Whitman County Prosecutor's Office.

Three others at the apartment were arrested on paraphernalia charges, including two WSU students.

Police say they seized one and a half pounds of marijuana, packaging materials, scales and other paraphernalia. Dibble was booked on charges of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Possession With Intent to Deliver, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Paraphernalia.

Elcome is facing Possession With Intent to Deliver, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Paraphernalia charges.

They were both scheduled for first appearance bail hearings late Wednesday afternoon.
