MOSCOW - A Lewiston man was killed in a crash north of Moscow early Sunday morning.

The Idaho State Police says it happened just after midnight.

ISP says 73-year-old Raleigh B. Austin of Lewiston was headed south on U.S. 95 near the junction with State Highway 66 just north of Viola, when he lost control of his Chevy Impala, crossing the centerline and hitting a guardrail. He was then stuck by a northbound Dodge Ram pickup driven by 39-year-old Benjamin C. Weller of Pullman.

ISP says Austin was killed in the crash. He was not wearing a seat belt.

Weller and his passengers, an 11 and 8-year-old child, were not injured, They were all wearing seat belts.
