BOISE - Bronco running backs coach Keith Bhonapha won't make the trip to Washington D.C. for the BSU-Virginia Tech game, Boise State announced in a statement.

The 30-year old was arrested by Idaho State Police shortly before 1:45 am Friday morning and charged with misdemeanor driving under the influence. He was booked at 1:48 am and eventually released.

Bhonapha is in his second season as running backs coach after three years as director of football operations from Boise State.

The University refused further comment on the situation.
