Strobel is an academic scholar determined to succeed
ASOTIN, WA - He's determined to succeed and succeed he does.
His name is Brian Strobel, a sophomore at Asotin High and he's this week's Academic All Star.
"I want to get into a pretty good school and I just feel that it would be a lot easier if I had a 4.0 and if I want to do the best I can, having a 4.0 is important," said Brian.
The 4.0 student has plans to attend the University of Washington where he'll pursue a degree in either electrical or mechanical engineering.
"I've heard that UW is a hard school to get into so I want to make sure that I get into it," said Brian.
Much of Brian's determination comes from his personal drive.
"I expect that of myself," said Brian. "I just do the best that I want to."
The academic scholar said his success stems from his ability to focus and time manage.
"You should be able to get a 4.0 if you work hard," said Brian.
Congratulations Brian, you're this week's Academic All Star.
