LEWISTON, ID - KLEW cares about you and that's why each week during the school year, we team up with Lewiston Orthopaedic Associates to highlight an outstanding local high school student.

Reporter Sophia Miraglio introduces you to Lewiston High School student Morgan Ashe.

This Lewiston High School student dominates on the soccer field, excels in the classroom and has big dreams of going far. Her name is Morgan Ashe and this week's "Academic All-Star."

"My parents and my coaches have always instilled in me, do your best no matter what," said Ashe. "And I mean there's always been a lot of long nights but I always try to work as hard as I can."

And it's that hard work that will pay off in the future.

"I'm gonna go move to Colorado and go to Metro State University of Denver, I wanna go into athletic training," said Ashe.

Which seems like an obvious choice for the four year varsity soccer star.

"I started in like fifth or sixth grad and I took it up naturally and I'm gonna try to play for the soccer team," said Ashe.

Congratulations Morgan for all you've achieved and will achieve and for being this week's "Academic All-Star."
