As the school year wraps up at Moscow High, Danica Davis is preparing for a busy senior year.

"I just got elected Senior Class President, so on top of everything else, it's going to be busy," said Davis.

Danica is going into her senior year with a nearly perfect GPA.

"I really enjoy my teachers, all of my teachers are amazing to me and they're very nice," said Davis.

She said she enjoys math, weight training, and playing the saxophone in band class.

"Just being able to play something and like have emotions go through something else other than words is, it's really cool," said Davis.

Danica also plays soccer and basketball… And as a member of the Business Professionals of America, she'll run the student store next year.

"I just like making people happy," said Davis.

Danica said her determined attitude helps her succeed in high school, in addition to motivation from her family.

"My sister, Brittany," said Davis. "You know, she was amazing at this school. She did a lot of things and just following in her footsteps is hard, but she's taught me that I can do it."

Congratulations, Danica, you're this week's "Academic All Star."
