TROY - Shiloh enjoys school, but she'd rather be singing.

"I was 8-years-old and the student talent show came up and for some reason I decided I wanted to sing and after that everybody told me I did an incredible job," said Sharrard. "I've kind of stuck with it since then."

Now Shiloh performs at fairs, festivals, benefits, and has sold plenty of CD's along the way. Shiloh's also an honor student who plans to continue her education at LCSC where she'll study Early Childhood Development. But a teaching career comes second to a music career. After college Shiloh plans to pursue her dream in Nashville. She encourages others to follow their hearts as well.

"Just keep going for it because that's the only way," said Sharrard. "If you believe in yourself nothing else can get in your way. Usually the only person who can stop you from reaching your dreams is yourself, so don't let that get in the way either."

And while she'll may be a local country music star, tonight Shiloh you're our Academic All Star!
