Academic All-Stars Award

Each week, KLEW-TV will select an Academic All-Star from the 8 counties in the KLEW-TV viewing area and feature that student during our Thursday KLEW-TV News at 5 and again during Friday night Primetime between 8:00-9:00pm. This sixty-second feature story will highlight the awarded student’s academic and extra curricular achievements.

The awarded recipient’s school will receive a $100 scholarship check to be used for any academic purpose and an award plaque recognizing the winner.

At the end of the school year (June 2008) one student will be selected from the weekly winners as the most outstanding Academic All-Star. An independent panel of judges will select this student. A $1,000 cash prize will be awarded to the most outstanding Academic All-Star's school to be used for any academic purpose.
