Kelsie Gartner
GENESEE - Plenty of state volleyball and basketball players know the name of this Genesee High School senior. This year, Kelsie Gartner competed in each sports state championship.
"In basketball, we were kind of the Cinderella story, and we ended up winning state, and that was cool," said Kelsie. "They don't have our banner up yet." What you may not know as she's shooting a jumper in the face of a defender is that Kelsie's taken care of business in the classroom as well. "I'm just kind of taking the basic classes for my last semester, making it easy," she said. She's earned it, with 3.95 overall G.P.A. And, she already signed up for classes at Lewis-Clark State College. "I'm going to try to double major in Kinesiology," said Kelsie. "One will be the sports med and exercise science field, and with the other one, I want to do coaching and sports administration." |
