May 18 3:00 PM The Girl Scout Program Center, 1404 N. Ash St., Spokane, WA.
(Spokane, WA−May 7, 2013): The Girl Scout Store in Spokane has been chosen as one of the premier sites for the Ganz® 2013 Road Trip. The store is one of the top sellers of Webkinz®, the wildly popular toy stuffed animals that have a playable online counterpart in Webkinz World®.
The Ganz van will be at the Girl Scout Program Center Saturday, May 18 from 3-5 p.m., located at 1404 N. Ash Street, Spokane. This FREE event will feature favorite games, new feature code prizes, tons of giveaways and all the new Nakamas® and Amazing World® pets. Any girl who registers as a new Girl Scout will receive a free regular Webkinz from the Girl Scout Store. The first 50 girls through the door will receive a free Lilkinz®.
“The Ganz van is only stopping in 11 states total so we feel very fortunate to have them stop at our store in Spokane,” said Store Manager Sharon Wagner. “They chose our store because our retail sales volume of Webkinz products is off the charts and our competitive prices seem to draw the collectors.”
The Girl Scout Program Center staff will be providing tours of the full sized gym, computer lab, teaching kitchen and games to compliment the Ganz van. Fun activity booths will provide information about joining Girl Scouts, becoming a volunteer, Summer Resident Camp at Camp Four Echoes at Lake Coeur d’Alene, Summer Day Camp at the Girl Scout Program Center. Other activities will be available in the gym and throughout the Spokane Program Center.
Webkinz were originally released in 2005. The toys are similar to many other small plush toys, however, each Webkinz toy has an attached tag with a unique "Secret Code" printed on it that allows access to the Webkinz World website. On Webkinz World, the Secret Code allows the user to own a virtual version of the pet for online play.
