Raising livestock by sustainable methods is of growing interest to farmers & ranchers as well as consumers. This daylong workshop will present concepts and specifics for managing farm livestock enterprises to be vibrant, health and sustainable for the long term. Four successful local livestock producers will share their knowledge and hands on expertise in small scale sustainable livestock production, processing & marketing. Pre registration deadline is Monday 2/11/13 by mail or email. Registration fee is $35 per person and includes lunch & resource materials. ($30 registration for Rural Roots members.)
