"The 2012 Community Cares Radio-A-Thon is a chance for Bull Country to give back to our community,” said Program Director and host of the Morning Stampede Radio Show, Bre Earl. Earl added, “Inside the studio we know the power of radio, but it's events like this that truly showcase that power. This radio-a-thon is going to allow volunteers, employees, and listeners the chance to come together to make an impact and a difference in our community.”
The first annual event hopes to raise $2,000 for the United Ways of Moscow and Pullman. Earl said, “Although we are setting a monetary goal, our main mission this year is to set up a strong foundation to make this an annual event, and to raise overall awareness for the United Ways of both Moscow and Pullman. The staff here at Bull Country and I, understand the importance of community partnership and the amazing things one hour of broadcasting can do. That is why we are thrilled and humbled by the opportunity to broadcast this event live for 30 hours straight with our employees and community members."
