Over the summer of 2011 Veronica interned at KIRO-TV in Seattle where she worked extensively with the Investigative News Team. Ever since high school Veronica knew she wanted to report. In order to get hands-on experience she worked as both talent and crew for Cable 8 Productions, a college television station at Washington State University, for several years. Veronica also had the opportunity to travel to Las Vegas and work as an intern for SONY at the 2012 National Association of Broadcasters Convention.
Veronica originally hails from Issaquah, Washington where she lived for most of her life. However downtown Seattle and Pullman are also considered home considering the amount of time she has spent in both locations. One of Veronica’s main passions is traveling. She studied abroad in India and backpacked across the country to Thailand in 2011. She also visits family in Japan as much as she can to keep up her Japanese proficiency.
When Veronica is not reporting she is exploring Lewiston - her new home. She loves to volunteer and get involved in the community- so feel free to send her an e-mail if you have opportunities!
